Description
Holy crap! I actually submitted something in over 4 months!
This is the detailed pic of my adorable ASP plushie replica from the Werben album artwork. ^_^ Gwaaaah hes so damn adorable!!!! *squeezes*
As you all recall from my Emma tribute [link] , I used him as my prop. Some of the materials I used were:
Gray-blue suede for the skin
Two different sized black button eyes
Three convex buttons for the coat
Rough gray cloth for the coat
Black yarn for the hair
Graphite pencil for the drawn-in stitching on his hands and feet
Black and gray string for sewing the skin together
Doll stuffing
Making him was quite a long task. Thankfully, I had some help from my boyfriend's mother, since she has sewing and crafting experience than I do. The body was not so hard to make (all it was were two pieces of cloth sewn and flipped inside out). However, the jacket was a little tough. The collar was ( and still is) screwed up since the reference I used had only one view, and it was difficult to guesstimate it's relevant size to the entire jacket. The bright side is though I am able to take the jacket off and possibly revise it later if I feel like it. I swear to God it looks like it could fit on a little baby!!! Hehe!
Plus, I have material left over for future projects (BONUS!).
ASP is (c) to themselves
Werben is (c) to ASP
Emma is (c) to ASP & Ingo Römling
