A New Lover FoundA light breeze ran threw the whispering cypress trees amid the many farms just below a bright green valley. Out of a small stone hearth not too far from other rural neighbors, emerged a fairly young housewife who slowly peeked with her head out into the open for a breath of fresh air. She had been weaving numerous baskets and molding clay into cooking pots for a couple of hours, and so the kissing glow of Apollo’s radiance following the summer’s first moderate gust, refreshed her. In fact, the sunshine proved to be brilliant enough to force the lonely housewife to squint with her hand on her brow in search of her husband hiking home

A couple months late for the April fools thingy, but I'm in it for the badge. :shrug:

Anyway, these two lovely kitties are Nooc (Nook) and Yelhsa (Yell-suh). They are named after the late cats before them Coon and Ashley, with their names simply spelled backwards. They are biologically brother and sister, and are the sweetest cats I've ever had the pleasure to meet, feed, and play with. Both are my boyfriend's cats, and currently reside at his parent's house. Since both of these old-timers are pushing 15 years, I figured it would be appropriate to give them an old-fashioned style photograph/digital rendering of them. :meow:

Aww, sweet! The way they're together made me think it was a mirror at first! Then I noticed the subtle differences in muzzle colour.

They certainly look lovely :-)

Reminds me of one of my friends. She's got two identical cats, but I didn't know... One walked into the room meowed, walked past me. Then the other did it. I spent about five minutes trying to work out how one cat was in two places at the same time before my friend told me she had two!

Yeah, they're almost identical twins, but the girl kitty has a flatter face with green eyes and a mustache. lol

What beautiful Daughters of Bast! They look like one I had many years ago and She was Queen of the Household too. I adored Her and when she passed on buried Her under my lilac bushes. May your two live long yet. :heart::heart::heart: Pet them for me please.
